It is with deep sadness that we inform you that Art Berg, CSP, CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame unexpectedly passed away today. He became ill last evening and died in his sleep early this morning from what appears to be a possible reaction to medication.

His passing leaves a void that will not be easily filled. His unconquerable spirit and his love for life will be with us and inspire us forever. INVICTUS!

We appreciate the caring and love of his speaker family.

(Message posted from Art's family)

Out of the night that covers me
Black as the Pit from pole to pole
I thank whatever gods maybe
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate
How charged with punishment the scroll
I am the Master of my fate
I am the Captain of my soul.
